Thomas Velin

Thomas Velin (born April 14, 1975 in Hørsholm ) is a Danish show jumper.

Velin is the son of a Danish entrepreneur (veterinary medicine), racehorse owner and stallion owner. Velin started riding at the age of five and got his first own pony three years later.

At the Olympic Games in Sydney and Athens , he achieved 10th place in the individual ratings on Carnute . He also took part in several European championships , World Cup finals and the 2006 World Equestrian Games . In his career he was three times Danish senior show jumping champion.

Velin trains with the Belgian show jumper Jos Kumps and lives in Fredensborg, Denmark .
