breed

In 1987 Quidam de Revel was used in breeding for the first time and got a reputation as a top sire early on thanks to his exceptionally successful offspring. In Germany alone, more than 30 of his sons have been licensed to date.

His most famous offspring are probably Dollar de la Pierre (= Tlaloc la Silla, 2000 in the Olympic final, 2002, team world champion in Jerez under Reynald Angot ), Nabab de Rêve (World Championship team bronze under Philippe Le Jeune , licensed stallion with internationally successful offspring and licensed sons, BWP horse of the year 2002, father of world champion Vigo d'Arsouilles), Guidam (= Adagio IV, under Eric van der Vleuten , licensed stallion KWPN with internationally successful offspring), Kador du Valon ( Steve Guerdat ), Le Prestige St. Lois de Hus ( Kevin Staut ), Queen Liesa ( Toni Hassmann ), Quite Capitol ( Torben Köhlbrandt ), Bianca D'Amaury ( Rodrigo Pessoa ), Quel Homme (German Champion 2005, René Tebbel ), Circa Z , Coco Chancel and Etoupe .

Chef de Race Mondial

Today Quidam de Revel, like his grandfather Alme and his father Jalisco B, is regarded as the “Chef du Race Mondial” because he has carried the Selle Français blood into all breeds in the world. In the Netherlands he has a jumping breeding index of 151 for 2010, in Germany it is 148 points in the jumping index. His offspring have already won more than 1.5 million euros in Germany alone.

clone

On March 13, 2005, a cloned foal of the exceptional stallion was born in the Cryozootech gene laboratory . The clone is called Paris-Texas in the USA.
