The inscription M HEINRICH REULE ZIMM referred to him . The N of the inscription was written in mirror image. It was designed as a twin house and comprised a total of nine containers in width . In later times the house was partially changed. The southern part was crowned by a dwelling , the northern part had a knee stick . The half-timbered facade of this part of the building was decorated on the upper floor with the half-timbered figure of the half man . The two entrance doors were at the south and north end of the house.

In 1989, the building was demolished in the course of extensive demolition of houses. It is referred to in the literature as a lost important building in Quedlinburg. The half-timbered facade of the upper floor of the northern part of the building was recovered and placed in front of the upper floor of the new building at Hohe Straße 9.
