New Testament (Glagolitic)

The Glagolitic New Testament was a book printing in the Croatian language in Glagolitic script , which appeared in Tübingen in 1562 and 1563 . The translation was done by Stjepan Consul in the Protestant Württemberg town of Urach , at the suggestion of the Slovenian reformer Primož Trubar from his Slovenian version of the New Testament. It was supposed to promote the Reformation among the Croats, Slovenes and other southern Slavs in the Habsburg Empire .

One version in Cyrillic and one in Latin was also published .
