Neuhütte in Joachimstal is a deserted area in the Löwenstein Mountains in the area of the municipality of Wüstenrot . The living space was 1720-1999, close to the main road in 1066 in the southeast of the district Heilbronn .

history

Neuhütte in Joachimstal was founded in 1720 as a glassworks in the upper valley of the "Spiegelberger" Lauter . The settlement was also named Joachimstaler Hütte after the Spiegelberger Chamber Councilor Joachim Schmid and was a branch of the Spiegelberger Glasmanufaktur. In 1736 the glassworks was given up again after the Spiegelberger glass factory went bankrupt.

Numerous vagabonds and robbers then settled in the abandoned buildings and had to be removed by force (see the number of inhabitants in 1746).

In 1778 a detached, rural property was built on the site of the glassworks by the driver Johannes Huber.

The state forest administration of Württemberg converted the farmhouse into an official forest building in 1879. It housed the forester's apartment, his office, a small farm and storage rooms for everyday forestry needs.

After the Forest Service had given the forester's house in 1974 and the building was then no longer inhabited, translocated to it in 1999 after Wackershofen in the local open-air museum . The location of the building is now 49 ° 7 '53.6 "  N , 9 ° 41' 28.8"  O .
