Neuhaus is a dwelling place of Westerbeck , in the municipality of Sassenburg in Gifhorn ( Lower Saxony ).

Bundesstrasse 188 , which connects Dannenbüttel and Gifhorn in this area , runs through Neuhaus . Bus routes run from Neuhaus to Gifhorn and Wolfsburg.

Neuhaus goes back to a Mohrhaus . In 1838 an inn was set up in the Moorvogthaus am Schiffgraben, for which the building that still exists today was built in 1860, which is operated as the Neuhaus inn . Neuhaus was later expanded to include a settlement north of Bundesstraße 188.

On March 1, 1974, Westerbeck and Neuhaus were incorporated into the new municipality of Sassenburg.
