Neuhof is a district of Fellen in the Main-Spessart district in Bavaria .

The place is surrounded by forests at the foot of the Hermannskoppe (567 m) at 380  m above sea level. NN in the district of Rengersbrunn .

history

Neuhof emerged as a new courtyard after the town of Haselbrunn (today desolate ) was depopulated in the Thirty Years' War and then no longer populated.

In 1862 the district office Gemünden am Main was formed, on whose administrative area Neuhof was located. In 1872 the Gemünden District Office was incorporated into the Lohr am Main District Office . It was not until 1902 that the Gemünden District Office was re-established. In 1939, as everywhere in the German Reich, the designation district was introduced. Neuhof now belonged to the district of Gemünden am Main (license plate GEM ). With the dissolution of the district of Gemünden in 1972, Neuhof came into the newly formed district of Main-Spessart (license plate number MSP ).
