Neunhellerhaus in Ladenburg

The Neunhellerhaus in Ladenburg , a town in the Rhein-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg , whose beginnings go back to around 1100, is located on the market square in the center of the historic old town. The half-timbered house is a protected cultural monument .

The massive ground floor dates from 1300, the half-timbered floors - a mixture of Swabian and Franconian half-timbered elements - from the 16th century. Swabian are the stabilizing parts such as struts and stands , Franconian the ornate, curved St. Andrew's crosses .

The Monument Foundation Baden-Württemberg named the building Monument of the Month for October 2018 .
