New point
As new point designate geodesics (surveyors) a einzumessenden point whose position is not coordinated is known. Whether the new point is measured terrestrially , by means of photogrammetry or satellite navigation is irrelevant for the designation.
As soon as the new point has been calculated in terms of its position, its coordinates are entered in a database and a topography - or, in the earlier usual procedure, in a point list. In most cases, there is a classification into different point types, which can be hierarchically ordered - e.g. B. (future) fixed point , general survey point , switch-on point, auxiliary point, GPS or other control point , building, alignment or boundary point , etc.
The most important methods for determining new points are:
- Polar method , polygonization (polygon course) and arc cut or blocked dimensions
- Free choice of viewpoint and cut back
- Laser scanning and remote sensing
- Aerial photographs and other measurement images , terrestrial accident photogrammetry
- Satellite positioning ( GPS , GLONASS , Galileo , Satellite Laser Ranging ),
and for less high accuracy requirements:
- Radio and astronomical navigation (e.g. LORAN , HiFix , method of equal heights )
- Kartometry (measurement from maps, distance circles, etc.), dead reckoning .
