Neutron War and Halloween
Springfield's mayor says the French are puffed up frogs. Relations between France and Springfield are strained and there is a risk of war. Because Homer only calls a shabby box a bunker, his family asks him to buy a real bunker. Homer tests a bunker while France wipes out all of Springfield with a neutron bomb . When Homer only sees skeletons, he thinks he is the only survivor in town. But shortly afterwards he has to discover that parts of the former population have turned into mutants who are after him. He takes refuge in his house, where he finds out that his family survived the attack unscathed because the house was painted with multiple layers of toxic lead paint. Finally, the Simpsons shoot all the mutants.
Fly against fly
The Simpsons bought a material transporter at a flea market run by Professor Frink. Bart imagines that if he got into the matter transporter with a caught fly , he would become some kind of superhero. But it turns out differently, because the fly gets Bart's body but keeps its head, while Bart gets the fly's body but keeps his head. With the help of his sister Lisa, however, he can defeat the fly monster.
The brisk witch fry
The old captain tells the supposed story of how Halloween came about. Various characters at the time of the witch hunt are replaced as characters from the Simpsons. Marge thinks the witch hunt is going too far. She is accused by people of being a witch, which later turns out to be true. The exposed Marge flies with the broom to her two witch sisters Patty and Selma. The three want to add human children for their soups. When they arrive at the Flanders house, they want to eat their children. But the Flanders suggest they take gingerbread children. The three witches are enthusiastic and from now on only want to ask for sweets.
