New Liskeard is a village in northern ontario on Timiskamingsee and Wabi Creek , which has been part of Temiskaming Shores since 2004 . New Liskeard has a population of 4,800 and was named after the parish of Liskeard in Great Britain .
history
In 1891 New Liskeard was founded by Europeans. In 1903 John Armstrong became the first mayor of the village. On October 4, 1922, a great fire broke out in New Liskeard.
