The Neyt Point , (also known as Cabo Neyt , Cap Neyt , Cape Neyt and Punta Neyt ) is a headland in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located 1.5 km southeast of Moureaux Point on Liège Island and represents the eastern boundary of the entrance from the Croker Passage to Caleta Neyt .
It was discovered during the Belgica expedition (1897–1899). Their expedition leader, the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery , named them after General Neyt, a supporter of the research trip .
