Ngeream (also: Garayamu , Garayamu-To , Gogeal Ngaream ) is an island in the island state of Palau in the Pacific Ocean .

geography

The island in the Airai area , together with the islands of Garreru , Ngedert and Omelochel, forms the north-eastern boundary in the southern section of the Toachel Mid canal between Babeldaob and Koror . Only narrow channels separate the islands from each other. Ngeream is the northernmost island in the series, just off the south coast of Babeldaob. The coastline is characterized by mangroves and the rugged structure of the former reef crown . The larger Garreru connects to the south. The island is densely forested and uninhabited. The Ngeream hill of the same name rises to approx. 105  m .
