Garreru (also: Garayama Island , Garayamu , Garrerui , Garreru-tō , Gatsureru To , Ngeream , Pkulapnei , Pkulapngei ) is an island in the island state of Palau in the Pacific Ocean .
geography
The island in the Rock Islands area south of Airai , together with the islands of Ngeream , Ngedert and Omelochel, forms the eastern limit in the southern section of the Toachel Mid canal between Babeldaob and Koror . Only narrow channels separate the islands from each other, for example the Chongelungel (pass) to the north to Ngeream . The coastline is characterized by mangroves and the rugged structure of the former reef crown . The island is one of the larger islands in the channel, it extends "trumpet-shaped" to the south. Ngedert and Omelochel join further south. Further east are the islands of Chesechosou , Dlebebai and Ngkesill . The island is densely forested and uninhabited.
