Ngermalk is an island in the island state of Palau in the Pacific Ocean .

geography

The island belongs to the archipelago of the Ulebsechel Islands in the Rock Islands area . The island is immediately south of Koror and is only separated from it by Ngerikuul Bay . The long island of Ulebsechel connects to the south and is only separated by the narrow Ongelunge Channel . The coastline is characterized by mangroves and the rugged structure of the former reef crown . The island is densely forested and for the most part belongs to the Ngaremeduu Bay Conservation Area . However, the north is connected by the Malakal Causeway and Bridge with the islands of Ngemelachel in the west and Koror in the north. In this area there are some structures and probably also residential buildings. The area directly adjacent to the road in the north is developed as a Long Island Park . Otherwise the island is not permanently inhabited.
