The Ulebsechel Islands are an archipelago of the West Pacific island republic of Palau . They are located in the extreme northeast of the Chelbacheb Islands ( Rock Islands ), directly south of the island of Koror and southeast of the island of Malakal . The islands border the Urukthapel Islands to the southwest .
The group consists of about 20 densely forested islands , the largest of which is by far the main island of the same name, Ulebsechel . None of the islands in the group are permanently inhabited.
