Eil Malk or Mecherchar is the main island of the Mecherchar Islands , an archipelago of the west Pacific island state of Palau in the archipelago of the Palau Islands . It is located 23 kilometers southwest of Koror near the eastern outer reef of Palau.

The densely forested island is roughly Y-shaped, up to 6 km long and 4.5 km wide. The area covers 9.1 km². On Eil Malk are over ten marine lakes , of which the Jellyfish Lake in the southeast of the island is the most famous.
