The Ngeroi Islands are a small group of islands in the West Pacific island republic of Palau . They are located in the south of the Chelbacheb Islands ( Rock Islands ) about 5 kilometers northwest of the island of Peleliu .
The group consists of five small wooded islands , the largest of which by far is Ngercheu ( Carp Island ). Apart from the staff of the Carp Island Resort who live there, none of the islands is permanently inhabited.
