The Ngoko is a border river between Cameroon and the Republic of the Congo .

course

It is formed by the confluence of the Dja and Boumba near Moloundou and flows in an easterly direction. The entire course of the Ngoko forms the border between the Est region in Cameroon and the Sangha department in the Republic of the Congo and joins the Sangha north of Ouésso from the right .

Naming

Sometimes the lower reaches of the Dja on the border with the Republic of the Congo are already called Ngoko or the entire course of the river up to the confluence with the Sangha is called Dja.
