Nguyễn Thị Trúc Mai (born March 20, 1997 ) is a Vietnamese long and triple jumper .
Athletic career
Nguyễn Thị Trúc Mai gained her first experience in international competitions at the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing in 2013 , where she won the gold medal in the long jump with a length of 5.90 m and was seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 11.70 m. In 2015 she took sixth place at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 6.16 m and in 2016 she won the gold medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City with a Vietnamese junior record of 6.34 m ahead of Parinya Chuaimaroeng from Thailand . In 2017, she was fourth at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with 6.26 m. The following year she qualified for the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished eighth with 6.19 m.
