Parinya Chuaimaroeng (born December 16, 1997 in Udon Thani ) is a Thai long and triple jumper .

Athletic career

Parinya Chuaimaroeng gained her first experience in international competitions at the 2013 Asian Youth Games in Nanjing , where she won the bronze medal in the long jump with a distance of 5.61 m. In 2016 she won the silver medal behind the Vietnamese Nguyễn Thị Trúc Mai at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City with a Thai junior record of 6.28 m . She then took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , where she was ninth in the final with 6.07 m. In 2017 she finished sixth in the long jump at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with 6.04 m and won the bronze medal in the triple jump with 13.32 m behind Vietnamese Vũ Thị Mến and Maria Natalia Londa from Indonesia. At the beginning of September, she finished sixth in the triple jump at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with 12.87 m. The following year she qualified for the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished seventh with 6.26 m. A few days later she won the silver medal behind the Kazakh Olga Rypakowa with 13.93 m .

In 2019 she won the Asian Championships in Doha with a height of 13.72 m and thus received a bye for the World Championships that will take place there in October. Then she was twelfth at the Summer Universiade in Naples with a width of 13.18 m. She did not start at the World Championships, but won the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in December with 13.75 m in the triple jump and won the silver medal in the long jump with 6.23 m behind the Indonesian Londa.

In 2016, 2017 and 2018 Chuaimaroeng became Thai champion in the triple jump and in 2017 and 2018 also in the long jump. She is a student at Bangkok University .
