Wang Wupin ( Chinese  王 烏 品  /  王 乌 品 , Pinyin Wáng Wūpǐn ; born January 18, 1991 ) is a Chinese long and triple jumper .

Athletic career

Wang Wupin gained her first international experience at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Moncton , Canada , where she won the silver medal behind Cuban Irisdaymi Herrera in the long jump with 6.23 m . The following year she took part for the first time in the Asian Championships in Kobe and was eleventh there with 6.08 m. In 2012 she won the bronze medal at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou with 6.22 m and in 2013 she reached eighth place at the Asian Championships in Pune with 6.01 m. At the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou, she finished fourth with 6.13 m and has since concentrated more on the triple jump.

In 2015 she won the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 13.76 m and was fourth at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea, with 13.75 m. She also qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where she was eliminated with 13.48 m in qualification . In 2016 she was fourth at the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha with 13.42 m. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time, where she came in fifth with 13.58 m.

In 2014, Wang became Chinese champion in the long jump and in 2015 in the triple jump.
