Nicholas Blane is a British actor .

Life

Nicholas Blane has appeared in the theater since the early 1980s. He starred in productions such as Year of the Rat , See How They Run, and Democracy .

Since 1987 Blane has also been active in film and television. He made his first appearance in the TV movie Miss Marple - 4:50 p.m. from Paddington . He then appeared primarily as a guest actor in series such as Coronation Street , Heartbeat , The Bill and Law & Order: UK .

In 1999, he played the role of Wopsle in the BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations . Further film appearances followed in Pierrepoint and The Illusionist . In 2007 he played the mini role of the Ministry of Magic employee Bob in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix .

In 2012, Blane was in the role of the Spice King in the cast of the second season of the hit television series Game of Thrones .
