history

On April 4, 1109, Nickelsdorf was first mentioned in a document. The hamlet was probably created after the settlement of the manor to cultivate the cleared areas.

Until 1792 the place belonged to the Electoral Saxon office of Haynsburg .

The Agriculture influenced and shaped the country. Therefore, after the fall of the Wall, the Ländliche Kerne eV association was stationed in the manor's estate to promote the development of rural areas. A youth hostel was set up.

The objectives of these activities are:

  • Preserving and cultivating culture and tradition
  • Promote ecological thinking and action
  • Create jobs and many more
  • Combine nature, sport and gastronomy
