Nicola Simone (diplomat)
Nicola Simone (born January 10, 1898 in Messina ) was an Italian diplomat .
He was the son of Vincenza Cernuti and Francesco an export merchant.
Life
During the First World War, Simone was deployed to the Corpo Aeronautico Militare, he left the armed forces as captain of the Bersaglieri of the reserve. In 1941 he married Ines Modolo Dal Cin. Education: Dr. Rer. Economy. & Trade. Career: Entry into the consular service and appointment as acting consul in S. Francisco (California) in May 1927; Vice Consul, New York; On December 12, 1928, he became Vice Consul for Essex, Hudson, Morris, Union and Warren. From 1934 to 1936 he was consul in Marseille. In 1939 he became consul in Mendoza . From 1942 to 1944 he was first-class delegation secretary in Buenos Aires . From 1950 to 1953 he was Consul General in Sydney .
From 1955 to 1960 he was ambassador to Tegucigalpa .
From September 12, 1961 to May 13, 1964 he was ambassador to Asunción .
