Giulio Mombelli

Giulio Mombelli (born December 19, 1895 in Rovescala ; † unknown) was an Italian diplomat .

Life

Mombelli was the son of Maria Della Fiore and Rinaldo Mombelli.

He studied economics at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi .

On July 11, 1915, he was made lieutenant and on October 31, 1917, captain of the infantry.

He was vice consul and in 1925 consul in Tunis . In March 1929 he became consul in Nancy . From 21 January 1933 until the Abyssinian War , he served as secretary of legation first class d'affaires in Addis Ababa . From 1935 to 1937 he was consul in Algiers . From 1938 to 1942 he was Consul General in Hamburg . From 1942 to 1946 he was Consul General in Zurich . On July 30, 1949, he received exequatur as consul general in Sao Paulo . From June 5, 1951 to the end of March 1955, he was the first Italian ambassador in Tegucigalpa ( Honduras ).
