Career
Bean started short track sports at the age of seven. At an early age he represented his province of Ontario in the respective age groups at the Canadian and North American championships, and finally he won the bronze medal at the Canadian Winter Games with the relay. After he even set a junior world record over 1500 meters, Bean was nominated for the junior world championship in January 2006 in Miercurea Ciuc . Also in the second race at the same place he was at least a good twelfth, with the relay he was ranked 8. At the second World Cup station in Vancouver , however, Bean was disqualified in his 1,500 meter race, but he again placed fifth with the relay Rank.
In 2010 he won the relay gold for Italy at the 2010 European Short Track Championships in Dresden . In the same year he competed for Italy at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2010 Short Track Team World Championships in Bormio . After that no more competitions are known.
