Nicolaus II von Carlowitz

Nicolaus II von Carlowitz (* in Beimendorf ; † April 17, 1555 in Stolpen ) was Bishop of Meissen from 1550 to 1555 .

Nicolaus II came from the von Carlowitz family . He was born at the family headquarters in Beimendorf, which belonged to his father Ewald von Carlowitz. His cousin Georg was a ducal councilor. Nicolaus II was buried in the church of Stolpen, his tomb was destroyed in a fire.
