Nicolaus Otto von Pechlin

Nicolaus Otto Freiherr Pechlin von Löwenbach , also Nicolai Otto Pechlin (* December 16, 1753 , † September 18, 1807 ) was a German administrative lawyer in the Danish service.

Life

Nicolaus Otto von Pechlin was a son of Detlev Philip von Pechlin (1718–1772), privy councilor and grand princely councilor , and his first wife Ottilia Charlotte, née. von Merner, (1720–1762), and grandson of Johann von Pechlin .

He entered the Danish administrative service and was initially bailiff for the Norburg department on Alsen , then bailiff in Segeberg and finally from 1795 to 1807 administrator of the county of Rantzau .

He was married twice; first marriage to Christiane Sophie Polyxene Henriette, geb. von Lövenstern (1756–1795), second marriage to Jacobine Charlotte, b. von Holstein (1772-1812). Friedrich Christian Ferdinand von Pechlin (1789–1863) was his son from his first marriage.
