Nicolaus Schneider
Nicolaus Schneider (born November 29, 1884 in Steinfort ; † March 6, 1953 in Luxembourg City ) was a Luxembourgish ancient orientalist .
Life
After ordination in 1909, he studied theology at the Pontificio Istituto Biblico with Anton Deimel . When Dr. theol. and Master of Biblical Exegesis, he became chaplain in Rippweiler (Useldingen parish) in 1912/1913 . 1913-18 he was vicar in Limpertsberg , 1918-22 pastor in Fingig and from 1922 professor for biblical studies at the seminary in Luxembourg.
