Nicole Richard

Nicole Richard (born April 22, 1957 in Bollendorf ; † July 11, 2014 in Kassel ) was a German gerontologist who became known for her integrative validation (IVA) approach for accompanying people with dementia, especially in the area of ​​German-speaking elderly care .

Life

Nicole Richard was a qualified pedagogue and psychogerontologist, she studied the latter at the Institute for Psychogerontology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg , where she graduated in 1992.

She developed the approach of as part of a nationwide working group Validation according to Naomi Feil on and later made it under its own name as Integrative Validation known by Richard (IVA).
