Nicole Schuster

Nicole Schuster (born January 14, 1985 in Aachen ) is a German author and pharmacist. In 2007 and 2008 in particular, she was present in the media to educate people about Asperger's Syndrome .

In November 2005 she was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. From then on, she campaigned for education about this variant of autism .

Nicole Schuster had her debut in the media world on July 24, 2007 in the ZDF television report: 37 degrees . On August 13th of the same year, she made her second TV appearance on the SWR show : People . A month later, Schuster was interviewed in the series of the RBB culture radio: God and the world . This was followed shortly afterwards by an interview by Stern magazine , which was published in 2007 issue number 44 under the title And every lunchtime there is savoy cabbage .

On 30 November 2007 she joined the MDR telecast Below us on. She was also on the SWR show : Nachtcafé on March 7, 2008. On August 17, 2008, her second radio appearance took place in an interview with the WDR5 radio show Dok 5 - The Feature: The Blind Mirror: On the Autistic Path to Being an Self . Three months later, she entered the WDR telecast Quarks & Co on.

In August 2008 she was awarded the “International Intellectual Benefits Award” by the Mensa Education and Research Foundation in Cologne for her efforts to “give autistic people a voice” .

From May 2016 to the end of 2016, she was the chairwoman of the Mensa association in Germany . As a licensed pharmacist, she leads the production of clinical investigational drugs at a medium-sized pharmaceutical company.

In 2016 she received her doctorate with the work against fever is a herb grown at the Philipps University of Marburg .
