Nicoletta Romanoff (born May 14, 1979 in Rome ; actually: Nicoletta Consolo ) is an Italian actress .

biography

The daughter of the post-fascist Alleanza Nazionale politician Giuseppe Consolo and Natalja Nikolajewna Romanowa, who came from the old Russian nobility, attended Marymount International School in Rome . After graduating with top marks in 1997, she moved to Paris to study art history. At the same time she was under contract with the model agency Ford Models . In 1999 she married the film producer Federico Scardamaglia, with whom she has two sons (* 1999 and 2000).

In 2002 she was selected by director Gabriele Muccino from among 600 aspirants for the film Ricordati di me (2003). In her role as the daughter of a dysfunctional family striving for a career in television, she earned international praise from critics. In addition, she was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” for David di Donatello and received the Guglielmo Biraghi Prize of the Italian Film Critics. In 2005 she played the leading role of a psychologically traumatized young woman in the miniseries Un anno a primavera . In 2007 she was seen in the biography of the cyclist Marco Pantani, who died in 2004 of a cocaine overdose, as his girlfriend.

In 2004 she separated from her husband and has lived with the actor Giorgio Pasotti ever since . A daughter was born in 2010.
