Nidia Muñoz Alemán (born May 8, 1991 in Havana ) is a Cuban Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 57 kilograms.

Muñoz played their first international title fights at the 2009 World Cup in Copenhagen , but retired after their opening fight. 2011 was a successful year. At the Pan-American Games in Guadalajara , she reached the quarter-finals and narrowly missed a medal. At the Pan-American Olympic qualification competition in Santiago de Querétaro , she won the final against Yeny Contreras in the class up to 57 kilograms and secured participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London .

Muñoz is trained by Ramón Arias in Camagüey .
