Gustavo Cabañas

Gustavo Cabañas († June 9, 2009 in or near Zacatepec de Hidalgo , Morelos ), also known by the nickname Güero , was a Mexican football coach and player who acted in attack .

Life

"Güero" Cabañas was part of the team of the first championship team of the CD Zacatepec and won the Copa México with the Cañeros two years later .

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he coached his former club and led the Cañeros in the 1977/78 season to win the second division championship and thus to direct promotion back to the Primera División .
