Niederlößnitz is a district of the city of Lößnitz in Saxony . The former farming village is located in the valley of the Lößnitzbach at the confluence of the Aubache.
history
Niederlößnitz is first mentioned in a document in 1497 as Niderlesenitzs . By 1600 there were six " possessed men ". Part of the village belonged to the Alberoda manor . At the beginning of the 19th century there were two grinding mills , a fulled cloth mill and a paper mill , which emerged from a Zain and weapon hammer . This burned down in 1808 and was no longer rebuilt. In 1820 , August Schumann also names a privately owned property that is said to have previously been a stately hunting lodge. On the Chemnitz – Adorf railway line opened in 1875, Niederlößnitz received a rail connection in 1885 with the Niederlößnitz stop . The station was expanded into a train station in 1898/99 and was designated as Lößnitz unt Bf from 1911 . Niederlößnitz was incorporated into Lößnitz in 1898.
