Niederroden is a district of the municipality of Stödtlen in the Baden-Württemberg Ostalb district with 69 inhabitants.
The district borders directly on Stödtlen to the east. The first documentary mentions can be found on the basis of two farms in Niederroden and Oberroden, as well as in 1270 Höfe zu Roden among the foundations of the Kirchheim monastery from the Counts of Oettingen .
