Niels Åkerstrøm Andersen

Niels Åkerstrøm Andersen (born April 27, 1964 in Glostrup ) is Professor of Political Management (politisk ledelse) and Research Group Leader at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School .

Academic career

Niels Åkerstrøm Andersen received his doctorate in administrative sciences from Roskilde University in 1995 . In 1997 he became a lecturer in political management at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School , where he was research professor for politics, strategy and organization from 2001-2005 and since 2005 has been professor of political management.

Niels Åkerstrøm Andersen's works are influenced by Ernesto Laclaus ' discourse theory , Jacques Derrida's deconstructivism and Niklas Luhmann's theory of social systems . His research focuses on the areas of social management , management of public administration and self-management as well as questions of the intimacy of management, which in particular includes the management of emotions. In addition, Andersen has written Power at Play, a standard work on Ludic management research.
