The synagogue in Slatina u Horažďovic , a town in Okres Klatovy in the Czech Republic , was built in 1868. The derelict synagogue has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .

history

The classicism- style synagogue was built on the site of a wooden synagogue. In 1917 the last Jewish family left Slatina. The Jewish community then sold the synagogue to the dealer and music teacher Karel Volmut, who set up a shop in the rooms of the former Jewish school and used the prayer room as a warehouse.

In 1983 the synagogue was restored. There is an apartment in one part of the building and a memorial room is to be set up in the prayer hall.
