Nigel Chase Barker (born February 26, 1883 in Petersham , New South Wales , † July 31, 1948 in Sydney , Australia ) was an Australian athlete who was successful in the sprint at the beginning of the 20th century. He was twice in a row national champion over 100 yards, three times in a row national champion over 220 yards and four times in a row national champion over 440 yards, whereby he was able to win the championship over all three sprint courses twice in a row:

He also started in the long jump. Here he came in 1905 with 6.47 m MEISTER and in 1908 with 6.15 m second.
He took part in the 1906 Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens and won two bronze medals:
- 100 m in 11.4 s behind Archie Hahn (gold in 11.2 s) and Fay Moulton (silver in 11.4 s)
- 400 m in 54.1 s behind Paul Pilgrim (gold in 53.2 s) and Wyndham Halswelle (silver in 53.8 s)
