Fay Moulton
Fay Moulton (born April 7, 1876 in Marion Center , Marion County , Kansas , † February 18, 1945 in Kansas City , Missouri ) was an American athlete who was successful in the sprint at the beginning of the 20th century.
He won his only American championship in 1902 over 440 y (50.8 s). Over 220 y 1901 and over 100 y 1902 he was runner-up. Added to this is a fourth place over 440 y in 1903.
He participated in the III. Olympic Summer Games 1904 in St. Louis and the Olympic Intermediate Games 1906 in Athens and won two medals:
- 1904:
- Bronze over 60 m in 7.2 s behind Archie Hahn in 7.0 s and in front of William Hogenson in 7.2 s
- Fourth place over 100 m in 11.4 s (time of the winner Archie Hahn : 11.0 s) and over 200 m (time not determined, time of the winner Archie Hahn: 21.6 s)
- 1906:
- Silver over 100 m in 11.3 s behind Archie Hahn in 11.2 s and ahead of Nigel Barker in 11.3 s.
