The Niggli Nunatakker are a group of up to 1470 m high Nunatakker in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Shackleton Range they loom 10 km north-northeast of Mount Wegener at the eastern end of the Read Mountains .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1967 by the United States Navy . The British Antarctic Survey carried out surveys between 1968 and 1971. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the group on January 5, 1972 after the Swiss geoscientist Paul Niggli (1888-1953).
