Nihad Alibegović

Nihad Alibegović (born January 1, 1962 in Voljice near Gornji Vakuf , SFR Yugoslavia , today Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Bosnian singer of the Narodna muzika . It is particularly popular with people of Bosnian origin in the Western Balkans and in other parts of Europe . His latest album was released at the end of 2012 under the name "Samo za nju" .

Life

Immediately after graduating from high school in Gornji Vakuf, Nihad Alibegović began to work in the music industry. In 1982 he took part in a musical competition for amateurs from Bosnia in Sarajevo , where he took first place among a number of participants in the final round of over 1000 amateur singers. Just two years later he released his first album for the RTV-Sarajevo broadcaster, which was also the organizer of the competition. To date, he has released a total of eleven albums.

Nihad Alibegović has been married since 1989 and has two sons, Amar and Ademir, with his wife Šefika.
