Niklaus Dachselhofer (General)

Niklaus Dachselhofer (born June 15, 1634 in Yverdon ; † April 19, 1707 in Uttigen ) was a Swiss magistrate.

In 1657 he was a member of the Grand Council of the City of Bern , 1661 Grossweibel, from 1662 to 1968 Hofmeister zu Königsfelden , 1681 to 1707 Kleinrat , 1682 Deutschseckelmeister , 1687 to 1691 Venner , captain in the French service and general of the Bernese troops.

Niklaus Dachselhofer was the son of Niklaus Dachselhofer and Barbara Stölli. In 1682 he acquired the Utzigen castle and estate from Samuel Jenner in exchange for the Thalgut in Ittigen.
