Nikolai Borissowitsch Alexejew
Nikolai Borissowitsch Alexejew ( Russian: Николай Борисович Алексеев ; * 1912 ; † 1984 ) was a Soviet diplomat .
Life
Alexejew studied at a university in Moscow until 1940 . From 1943 to 1947 he was employed at the Mission of the Soviet Union in Colombia . From 1947 to 1949 he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. In 1949 he was to Montevideo displaced, where he from August 1952 to 1954 as chargé acted. From 1954 to 1959 he was employed again in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. In 1959 he was a member of the Soviet delegation at the UN headquarters in New York City . From November 10, 1959 to April 5, 1966, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR in Buenos Aires , Argentina.
After the Valdivia earthquake in 1960 , Alexejew offered talks in Santiago de Chile to resume diplomatic relations as well as loans for oil production and mining.
From April 5, 1966 to 1968, he worked again in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. From 1968 to 1971 he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR in Santiago de Chile. From 1971 to 1974 he was employed again at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, where he headed a subdivision in the Latin America department from 1974 to 1980 and the Latin America department from 1980 to 1981.
Nikolai Alexejew was a member of the CPSU .
