Nikolai Petrovich Tokarev
Nikolai Petrovich Tokarew ( Russian: Николай Петрович Токарев ; born December 20, 1950 in Karaganda ) is a Russian manager and entrepreneur .
Life
Tokarew studied at the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute in Temirtau . According to the newspaper Novaya Gazeta and Wedemosti Tokarev served as KGB - officer in the 1980s in East Germany , where he with Vladimir Putin was known.
From 1996 to 1999 he worked for the Russian Presidential Property Management Administration. From 2000 to 2007 he was president of the Russian company Sarubeshneft . He currently heads Transneft , a Russian company that builds and lays pipelines.
