Nikolai Wladimirowitsch Buschujew ( Russian: Николай Владимирович Бушуев ; born March 14, 1985 in Ustinow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Severstal Tscherepowez in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Nikolai Buschujew began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Ishstal Izhevsk . From there he moved to HK Lada Tolyatti , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2002 to 2004 . He then made his debut in professional ice hockey for the ZSK WWS Samara from the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, in the 2004/05 season . In the following three years he played again for his home club Ischstal Ischewsk, but this time for its professional team in the second division.

For the 2008/09 season Buschuyev moved within the Vysschaya League to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg . The team was included in the 2009/10 season in the Continental Hockey League founded a year earlier . In his debut season in the KHL, the left shooter scored 13 goals in 57 games and made ten assists. In the following season , the Russian was able to increase to 23 scorer points in his first 22 missions, after which he left Yekaterinburg and in January 2011 signed a contract with its league rivals SKA Saint Petersburg until the end of the season. At the Army Club, however, he could not build on these achievements and only got two scorer points in 13 KHL games. Therefore, he did not receive a contract extension, but returned to Awtomobilist.

In May 2012, Buschuyev was signed by HK Spartak Moscow for three years , before he was exchanged for Alexander Ryazantsev from Severstal Tscherepowez a year later .

In 2014 he ended his career.
