Alexander Vladimirovich Ryazanzew ( Russian Александр Владимирович Рязанцев ; born March 15, 1980 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Amur Khabarovsk in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
Alexander Ryazantsev began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HK Spartak Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 1996/97 season . He then moved to North America , where he initially ran for three years for the Victoriaville Tigres in the Canadian top junior league Québec Major Junior Hockey League . During this period he was selected in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft in the sixth round as a total of 167 players from the Colorado Avalanche . From 1998 to 2003, the Russian was on the ice for Colorado's farm team from the American Hockey League , the Hershey Bears . The 2002/03 season he ended with their league rivals Milwaukee Admirals .
In the summer of 2003, the defender returned to his Russian homeland, where he initially ran for Lokomotive Yaroslavl for two years . He then received a contract with the reigning Russian champions HK Dynamo Moscow , with whom he won the IIHF European Champions Cup in 2006. In the final, he and his team prevailed against Kärpät Oulu from the Finnish SM-liiga . After only one season, Ryazantsev left the capital city again and joined the SKA Saint Petersburg . After the left shooter had also started the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League in Saint Petersburg, he was obliged a few days after the start of the season by their league rivals HK Awangard Omsk . He spent the 2009/10 season with Vityas Chekhov . In October 2010 he was signed by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg . In January 2011 Ryazantsev was committed by Salawat Yulayev Ufa and won the championship of the KHL with Salawat at the end of the season.
In May 2011 Ryazantsev moved to HK Tractor Chelyabinsk within the KHL , and one year later to Severstal Cherepovets . In June 2013, the management of Severstal swapped him for Nikolai Buschujew from HK Spartak Moscow , so that after many years he moved back to his home club. A few weeks after the start of the season, it was given to HK Dynamo Moscow in exchange for a right to vote for the KHL Junior Draft 2015 .
From July 2014 Ryazantsev was under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , but was again transferred to Amur Khabarovsk a few weeks after the start of the season in exchange for a right to vote for the KHL Junior Draft 2015 .
International
For Russia Ryazantsev took part in the U20 Junior World Championships in 1999 and 2000 , as well as the 2005 World Cup.
