The Tigres de Victoriaville are a Canadian junior ice hockey team from Victoriaville in the province of Québec that plays in the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The franchise plays its home games at Colisée Desjardins .
history
For the 1982/83 season , the team was founded in Longueuil in the Canadian province of Québec as Chevaliers de Longueuil . In 1987 the Chevaliers moved to Victoriaville, where they have been on the ice under their current name ever since. In 2002 the Tigres won the Coupe du Président , the championship of the LHJMQ. This earned them participation in the Memorial Cup 2002 , where they were subject to the Kootenay Ice from the Western Hockey League in the final .
