Coupe du President

The Coupe du Président ( English : President's Cup) is the championship of the Canadian ice hockey junior league LHJMQ , which is played annually between the playoff winners of the LHJMQ Division Est and the LHJMQ Division Ouest . When the LHJMQ was founded, the trophy was played for the first time in 1970; the current titleholders are the Titan d'Acadie-Bathurst . The winner of the Coupe du Président is one of four participants in the tournament for the CHL Memorial Cup .

Since 1967, the winner of the Canadian Junior Ice Hockey League WHL has also received a President's Cup . This was renamed the Ed Chynoweth Cup in 2007 .
